THE FIRST ANNUAL LATIN TASTE FEST TO BENEFIT
FEEDING SOUTH FLORIDA
Latin cuisine, music and art under one roof will help those in need.
(Miami, FL – April 2013) – Latin Events Network, an event planning and management company, will hold the First Annual Latin Taste Fest in collaboration with charity partner, Feeding South Florida on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 4:00 – 10:00p.m. in the International Ballroom at the Hilton Miami Airport, the event hotel sponsor, located at 5101 Blue Lagoon Drive.
The Latin Taste Fest is a food, wine, and spirits extravaganza that will feature cuisine samplings, wines, beers, brand liquors, gourmet cooking classes, accompanied by an eclectic variety of live Latin musical entertainment, among other exhibits and activities soon to be announced. The event will include a variety of top local Latin restaurants that will offer a taste of their specialty dishes.
“This high-end event is intended to promote the importance of the Latin community, which boasts a purchasing power of over $1 trillion” says Roxy Quevedo, Founder & President of Latin Events Network. She adds “The Fest will be an opportunity to feature specialty dishes from an array of choice restaurants, accompanied by first rate entertainment and art, as we give back to our community by donating to our charity partner, Feeding South Florida!”
VIP guests will have access to a special Casino Themed area with select restaurants, wine and spirits exhibitors in addition to the general area. The Fest is a 21+ event.
A portion of the ticket sales proceeds and all food overages will be donated to Feeding South Florida, the exclusive Latin Taste Fest Charity Partner.
“The Latin culture places tremendous importance on fresh, homemade meals; not only as a form of nourishment, but more importantly as a way of bringing family together. For so many families in South Florida, the main ingredient is missing… food. How fitting to have the Latin community come together to celebrate the Latin spirit as a way of helping our children, older adults and working poor families set the dinner table and create new memories” Paco Velez, CEO & President, Feeding South Florida.
VIP tickets are $100; General Admission is $50 per person, all inclusive. For ticket purchase or additional event information, visit LatinTasteFest.com or call (954) 732-1350.
